 It is the Abraham Kriel Childcare’s passion to ensure the optimal development of traumatized and other children in need of care.

It is the responsibility of the Marketing Department to ensure that the public remains informed of services that this childcare organization provides to the community.  The marketing department has to create income growth and the media officer is responsible for support in this regard by:
• the design, production and distribution of all newsletters and the annual review;
• the maintenance and development of the website in liaison with the webmaster;
• the design, production and distribution of an e-mail newsletter;
• the establishment and maintenance of a media liaison programme;
• the writing of press releases;
• the design of all marketing material in line with brand requirements.

The media officer will receive close supervision and training opportunities.
Remuneration Package:  R125-000 – R158 000 per annum (Cost to company)
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• Appropriate degree or diploma in communication, marketing or journalism
• Excellent writing abilities in both English and Afrikaans
• Proficiency in MS Word; Excel; Powerpoint, Internet, E-mail, and design software eg. Photoshop
• Photography skills
• Code 08 driver’s license
• Willing to work in a Christian environment

The right candidate will need a love for children’s causes and the ability to be self-motivated and enthusiastic.
